Meet our new team members

In August, we had the pleasure of welcoming four new members to the Baze team. We sat down with our new colleagues and asked them about their experience after their first weeks at Baze.

Two of our new colleagues are our very first trainees. They have now entered a one-year programme to learn all there is to know about Baze and our product BazePort IPTV. Further, our R&D team have been expanded with a new UX designer and our Sales team with a Business Development Manager dedicated to the hotel market.

We sat down with our new team members and asked them about their first month in Baze.

How has your first month at Baze been?
It has been both exciting and fun. So much to learn! Friendly colleagues too!

What are you looking forward to at Baze?
I am looking forward to learning more about the products and services. I am also excited about getting to know my new colleagues better! I think Baze is a perfect place for me to grow and develop as a designer.

What’s your favourite Baze film?
Until now, I have only seen «Promising young girl” and I really enjoyed it!

He is joining us as a Business Development manager to ensure Baze meets the demands of the hotel industry and then gains a significant share of that market.

How has your first weeks at Baze been?
I've only been here for about a week, but it's been very nice. Pleasant and skilled colleagues, gorgeous lunch and many new routines and systems to familiarise me with.

What has surprised you the most?
I knew that there would be a lot of skilled people in Baze. But still, I am surprised by the enormous overall competence within this office's walls. It is a pleasure to be part of Baze and the journey ahead.

What’s your favourite Baze film, documentary or TV show?
Bohemian Rhapsody!

Linnéa

Trainee

Linnéa has a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from the University of Agder in Norway and has recently graduated with an MSc in International Business and Trade from Gothenburg University in Sweden.

How has your first month at Baze been?
My first month at Baze has been great. Of course, starting a new job with so many new impressions and things to learn can be a bit overwhelming, but thus far I'm enjoying it and am embracing the new challenges.

What’s your favourite movie in the BazePort library?
This is a tricky one... I love watching movies and series. If I had to pick one, it would have to be the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die.

Tor Oveland Vimme

Trainee

Tor recently graduated with a master’s degree in Business Administration and is one of our new trainees.

How has your first month at Baze been?
My first month at Baze has been great. A lot of interesting tasks with a variety I could never imagine.

What are you looking forward to doing here at Baze?
I am looking forward to taking part of challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of Baze.

What has surprised you the most?
My biggest surprise is the flexibility of work. I have been given a lot of trust from my superiors and co-workers at an early stage, which I think is very valuable.

What’s your favourite movie in the BazePort library?
Definitely Spiderman!
