Release of BazePort IPTV - version 8.2

We are proud to release the new version of BazePort IPTV. The 8.2 version includes brand-new features like the Cherry-page, several enhancements, new functionalty in Flow and so much more.

INTRODUCING THE CHERRY-PAGE

For the first time, we are introducing the BazePort Cherry-page. The Cherry-page presents content on the TV's Start page that is cherry-picked for the viewer. The most relevant content will be available directly from the TV's start page.

With the new and personalised entertainment selection, the viewer will immediately find something enjoyable to watch with a minimal amount of effort.

TAG TO CHERRY-PAGE

With the introduction of BazePort Cherry-page, we have defined a new set of tags, allowing pages to be tagged to the Cherry-page.

Individual pages from the Info Portal can now be tagged to Cherry-page, to the Start page menu, or as landing page or landing page carousel in the BazePort web app, see figure below.

NEW FUNCTIONALITY IN BAZEPORT FLOW

BazePort Flow was introduced in BazePort 8 and we added a couple of new features in 8.1.

In version 8.2 we present the new action type 'Web request'. It is used to trigger an action in a third-party system.

Say you have an emergency situation and would like to trigger a video on all your screens. If you run a third-party Digital Signage system for some of your screens, the BazePort web request is what you need. A button in a BazePort dashboard can be set up to trigger an action to playback a predefined video in the third-party system. No need to log in to the third-party system when time is already short.
