We now launch a new feature in Flow, the action type Web request.

BazePort Flow was introduced in BazePort 8 and we added a couple of new features in 8.1. Have you tested it out yet?

Flow automates repetitive and mundane tasks. It’s easy to use and is prepared in just 3 steps: 1: Name the flow, 2: Select triggers, and 3: Decide on actions.

WHAT IS A WEB REQUEST?

The new action type Web request can be used to trigger an action in a third-party system. You can request or send data from the third-party system, and the request can use different types of authentication methods.

WHEN TO USE THE WEB REQUEST?

Say you have an emergency situation and would like to trigger a video on all your screens. If you run a third-party Digital Signage system for some of your screens, the BazePort web request is what you need. A button in a BazePort dashboard can be set up to trigger an action to playback a predefined video in the third-party system. No need to log in to the third-party system when time is already short.
