We are introducing generation 7 of BazePort servers, as well as giving BazePort Seea customers the option to connect set-top box model CT-2191 using Wi-Fi.

BAZEPORT SET-TOP BOX OVER WI-FI

For BazePort Seea users, version 8.2 includes the option to connect BazePort set-top box model CT-2191 using Wi-Fi. It is an alternative to a setup using an ethernet network. BazePort Seea installs are typical for on-demand content usage only. Using Wi-Fi for connecting an STB is only to be used for unicast transfer of content. Regular BazePort Seea installs have only one or two set-top boxes. The option to use existing Wi-Fi in a setup is cost-effective and easy to self-install, vital to a BazePort Seea installation.

BAZEPORT 700-SERIES SERVER

We are now introducing BazePort 700-series server. BazePort server models 720, 721, 760 and 761 will have a new storage solution based on SSD disks instead of HDD. The storage technology evolves and we have decided to make SSD disks standard in BazePort servers. SSDs do not have moving parts, operates more quietly, more efficiently, and with fewer parts to break than the HDDs that have spinning platters.
